This is for the Mexican Riviera sailing on 11/18.

Embarkation/Debarkation were sadly the best parts of this cruise. The cabin itself was decent and clean. The TV options were better than other cruiselines with a rotating schedule of movies and various other programming. Managed to watch 7 NFL games while there which for me was a positive (wife not so much). The two main issues I had with the room was the temperature was too high. Neither my wife or I were comfortable with the temperature at any time. Made sleeping difficult. The pillows were awesome...at first. They are feather pillows and the feathers do poke you - but worse than that is when you've laid on them for about 5 minutes your head sinks all the way through and the feathers move to the side and you no longer have support. Again - sleeping was greatly affected by the high room temperature and the pillows lack of lasting support.

Our first experience outside the dining room was to grab a burger at the burger/hotdog shop on the Lido deck. The food was ok but while we sat there for 10 minutes eating we had a guy try to sell us beer THREE TIMES! Man alive!! Let me eat my food! If I didn't want a beer the first time then I don't want it the second or third time and if I do I will come find you!

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin IE

Actually liked the cabin except the temp and the pillows. The spacing was fine, the baths were fine - it was one part of the ship I didn't have much issue with.

Port Reviews

Puerto Vallarta

Good location - there's a mall right outside the port. There's also a Walmart next to that in case you need any supplies. Also Uber works great. It cost about $8 to get Muertos beach and if you want to go the the Predator site at Eden then it's about $15. Great value - forget paying the high prices for an excursion! Just grab an Uber!

Mazatlan

Went to stone island. You can walk to the water taxi about 5 mins from the port. Take a boat across and great beaches and restaurants and bars on the ocean. The only issue is that you can't sit there for more than 5 minutes without someone trying to sell you henna tattos or wicker baskets or crappy jewlery.

Cabo San Lucas

Last tender back is at 1:15P - so you don't have a lot of time. The bars are close by and the shops are right there so you can get in, get your gifts, get your drink on and be on your way without much issue.
