Sail Date: Oct 2017
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We chose back to back cruises starting in Perth on to Adelaide, Melbourne and NZ finishing in Sydney and then 8 days to Brisbane and the Barrier Reef again finishing in Sydney.

We chose the cruise solely based on the itinerary and were not disappointed although the weather could have been better in the early stages.

We had a balcony cabin on deck 8 midship (8316) - excellent location and overall no complaints although smaller than the balcony cabins on board the newer P&O ships.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Very clean cabin although a little smaller than we have had recently on P&O.

Rust was very evident on balcony.

We had minor problems with toilet overflow and door but these were fixed promptly.

TV was poor and we had no interactive service - this I was told affected a number of cabins.

Port Reviews

Perth (Fremantle)

Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit.

Melbourne

Used tram - visited Oval Cricket Ground.

Akaroa

Did private tour - excellent just $25 for a 3 hour tour - book in town centre visitor centre or at port.

Picton

Met old friends and had lunch at winery.

Wellington

Did the usual - cable car and museum. Recommended.
