We chose this cruise because: 1) It's Disney! and 2) the convenience of sailing from the NYC area. DCL does not disappoint when it comes to entertainment, friendliness, and making you feel welcome. The shows and Marvel characters were fantastic. There were four sea days on this trip and we did not run out of things to do. Castaway Cay was excellent, but time for a change to the lunch menu on the island. Food on the ship was very good, but time for some changes to the menu too. Our day at WDW was the highlight of the trip.

Our 9 yr old daughter loved the Oceaneer Club and Lab. She spent any free time engaged in the activities.

Disembarkation was the fastest we've ever experienced. We walked out of breakfast and found no line to get off. We picked up our luggage, went through immigration, and were in our car in less than ten minutes.

Cabin Review

Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite with Verandah

Cabin 00T

Even at 600+sf, it seemed a bit tight (narrow doors, 'small' balcony). The room was very clean, and in an excellent location. The noise from above (Deck 9) was terrible. You heard chairs being moved from 7A to 10P. No way to take a nap. We contacted our concierge, who had the area above our cabin roped off at night so we could sleep.

Palo brunch was excellent as usual. Well worth the up charge. For a ship as old the Magic, it is in top condition.
