We had two nights in a luxury hotel before being transported to the ship. The hotel was great. It gave us a chance to address the Jet lag after flying from Miami. Took two "Double Decker" bus tours. around the city. Tours were super! Would like to have had two more days in this beautiful city. Air travel on American Airlines was average, but when we got to the airport, we had asked for a wheelchair, along with 16 others on the plane. The service in Barcelona airport was terrible. It took TWO HOURS to get from the plane to the luggage retrieval area, and by that time they had removed our luggage from the carousel and, not speaking any Spanish, could not find the bags. A wonderful lady from DELTA airlines came to our rescue and found our luggage and got us to the taxi stand. We had missed our bus from the airport to the hotel due to the long wait for the wheelchair.

Once at the pier the boarding and embarking procedure was fine. The ship was fine although the Buffet dining in the Windjammer lounge left a bit to be desired. The in cabin TV left a LOT to be desired. Reruns of CNN for three or four days

The Staff on the ship couldn't be any better. Our Waitress and assistant were wonderful. Entertainment was top shelf. Canary Islands was a new and very nice experience. I would definitely take this trip again

Roomy, and comfortable,The room attendant. did a good job, but the TV choices were awful We couldn't find the results of the World Series, Nothing on the terrorist attack in NYC with 8 dead, All we had was CNN and they repeated the same loop for days on end.
