This was our 3rd Royal Caribbean cruise. The ship was nice, the service was great, the ports were great, the excursions were good, we were just disappointed with the food. We ate in the dining room the first 2 nights. The first night the pasta dish tasted like something that would be served in my grandmother's assisted living center. The second night no better and served lukewarm. So we ate at the buffet for the rest of the trip. And the food there was mediocre at best. Same food served every day. The sauerkraut was dried out and burned from sitting under warming lights. We were so disappointed.

A few other negatives are that they don't provide a bathrobe unless you are above a certain level in the frequent cruising program. The shipboard activities that were "free" were pretty lame. And there were activities and restaurants that you had to pay extra for, but we chose not to. Again, the ports were great and the excursions good.

So far we've sailed on RC, Norwegian, Celebrity and Holland America. Holland America remains our favorite, Celebrity our least favorite. RC and Norwegian tie for 2nd.

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

The stateroom was fine. Plenty of storage. Our attendant was good. The shower is small and no tub.
