My first Carnival experience, and whilst I had a nice cruise with friends, the whole experience left me a little underwhelmed. The ship is getting a little tired around the edges and me thinks it's time for a makeover!

The dining room was disorganised and we were nearly last out of there every night as we didn't get our main course usually until 9.15pm. This became annoying as we wanted to go to the shows. The buffet on Lido was better than the dining room, as at least the food was hot. The highlight of the cruise was "Chef's Table" which was a 7 course degustation menu with a tour of the ship's galley. The food and service were both sensational which goes to prove that it can be done, so why not show some consistency throughout the ship's restaurants.

The shows and comedy club were great. The ship's entertainment crew were great and the shows we did get to were very professional and entertaining.

Nice cabin, although the furnishings were getting a little tired. Time for a makeover me thinks! Bathroom had been renovated so was nice and clean.
