Have enjoyed Barcelona many times this was our 9th cruise ,and our third from Barcelona embarkation was a fairly smooth process no stress , ship is lovely with plenty lounges and bars all the guest areas very clean as are restrooms our balcony cabin very nice as was bathroom with shower , balcony quite small but adequate. One of our main reasons for choosing msc was to experience a Italian cruise line as food on our vacation is a major aspect . In our opinion the food in main dining rooms is very poor this standard is by far the worst we've experienced on a cruise . This continues in to the main buffet , food often cold and not a adequate choice . On one lunch I chose mushroom soup a soup I've made many times even my worst and first attempt was better than what was presented two spoons worth was enough. Veg curry main course shocking poor cooks cannot be chefs ! Catering management Need help with standards . We then chose eating in specialty restaurants Which were really very good but it was worth extra cost . Would Msc consider a discount for guests who do nor eat in main dinning rooms? We found all inclusive drink package we were sold by travel agent was not fully inclusive but was second rate why two packages?

Sometimes overall feeling was of a customer rather than a guest when ordering drinks . Couldn't get a Bloody Mary in champagne bar and I would have to go to a different bar but My wife was wanting champagne. Could go on but hope you realise it's our opinion.
