We wanted a cruise that left on our anniversary, bonus that it left from our home city & returned to same. Plus who can turn down a trip to Hawaii.
The service was great, our room stewards were awesome.
However, the food was atrocious. 90% of the time, I left most of my meal on the plate. The meat was always over-cooked & dried out. (Except for the Tamarind, the steak there was cooked to perfection.) They seriously need some new cooks, new menus. And the in-room dining menu needs far more options.
The cabin was lovely, large bathroom & deck.
We live in Vancouver and love everything about it.
We rented a car and did our own thing which included Pearl Harbour and a luau with Paradise Cove. Both of these were highly recommended. We also went to the Dole Plantation which was fun and swam on the North Shore. Lots of shopping & dining.
We were only here for half a day so didn't get to see much. The area around the ship didn't have a lot of options for shopping or dining. Not overly impressed.
