We chose this cruise because it sails to Cuba and we were not disappointed! The Cuban theme was echoed throughout the ship with live salsa music, specialty meals in the Main Dining Rooms, and mojitos everywhere! What a bonus to have a drink package included in the cruise price, even the food and drinks at Great Stirrup Cay were included! That's a tremendous value!
The ship decor is a bit dated but it is clean and well-maintained. We were there for Cuba so this minor detail did not detract at all from our experience; we had everything that we needed for an excellent vacation. Besides, your are in Havana 2 full days, then Bahamas 1 full day so there is very little time to spend critiquing the paint or carpet! This is also a smaller ship as the larger ships cannot fit in the Havana harbor and might damage the underwater tunnel connecting the Malecon to the fort on the other side. So be prepared that it will not have all the bells and whistles of a larger ship.
The Cuban VISAs were handed to us at embarkation (easy) and the immigration process at Havana went very smoothly. The Cuban immigration officers kept both halves of the VISA but it was not a problem to come and go through the passport control area.
Perfect size for 2 adults and maybe a small child but would be impossible for teens with their parents. We had quiet neighbors and no problems with noise from the deck above. The balcony was nice to have for fresh air but the weather outside was very hot and humid so we did not leave the door open very much.
We stayed 2 nights at the Intercontinental Hotel and used Uber to travel to South Beach and the cruise terminal.
