The reason why we booked was a special offer of 10 nights for the price of 7. We had heard Scenic tours were a very good travel company although rather expensive. We had previously done European river cruises with Uniworld which suits us. Looking at your brochure we were hoping Scenic were going to offer us much more. But other than the balcony with a window that goes up and down, it did not. Uniworld always took us to and from the airport but Scenic did not. The evening special entertainment was poor, however, the resident entertainer, Margaret, was excellent. Our butler service was the worst part of the trip. She was very disappointing and quite rude! The drinks were very good, but the food was not as good as I had hoped. No potatoes available for a lot of meals. L'Amour restaurant very disappointing. The highlight of our cruise was being invited on to the Captain's table for the gala dinner.
