This is our 10th Cruise, predominantly on RCL and Celebrity, but we have done Princess and P&O. as well. Went with friends who wanted to take lots of luggage, hence we chose a Southampton Sailing, to be honest, to Ports we had mostly done before. So a little apprehensive, we love the standard of Celebrity so a lot to live up to.
Firstly embarkation was quick, although it was after two when the Eavesway coach got us there. We had a Balcony cabin on Deck 6 which was good, plenty of space and a decent balcony, clean and tidy.
The Ship is ready for its re-fit next year and the wear and tear is staring to show, it won't spoil your Cruise but you can see it needs refreshing in places.
Nice Cabin, plenty big enough, huge bed, drop down bed over the top if needed, nice Balcony, unobstructed view
We visited Cassis, a little fishing village, about 45 minutes drive. On the way there we went up the Mountain on a windy road to amazing views and an amazing photo opportunity at the top. Cassis was lovely, just wish we had a little more time there
