Many people cancelled this cruise when it was announced that the ship had a propulsion problem and would be traveling slower. They also changed the itinerary to accommodate this reduced speed. But I have to say that you really missed out on a wonderful cruise. We never had any mechanical problems and the ports were good, and the staff, food , entertainment, etc. were outstanding. We traveled at 18 knots which certainly was not a snails pace. The sea was also relatively calm.

I was nervous after reading so many cruise critic opinions that this was a sick ship and could get stuck in the middle of the ocean.

But there was never any problem at all. So those of us who stuck with the ship and the cruise were very happy and enjoyed a great cruise. Many of us were also treated well by being given a nice cabin upgrade. Thank you Princess for this and for the cash bonus.
