The ship was very modern and cabins were spacious, especially as a result of the indoor balcony, which we also used as a sitting area.
Especially liked the excursion mix of history and art with very knowledgeable guides and No tipping! Tipping is often a difficult exercise, as you wonder how much is the norm, and then what we should give. One of the highlights was the dinner and concert at the Benedictine abbey, and also the excursions to the SOMME and D-DAY Normandy beaches.....which focused on the contributions of the nationalities on board--so we saw the Canadian contributions first hand,,,especially the moving tribute at JUNO beach.
Fabulous cruise director, Ben., and really the entire staff was excellent---very accommodating and helpful.
Very easy ti walk around on your own
