This was our first time on Carnival and after reading many reviews, we didn't have any high hopes for this cruise. Due to the hurricanes we sailed to the Bahamas. Itinerary was fine with us and since we hadn't been to the Bahamas for a few years, we looked forward to it. Seas were a little rough for two days which created some great sleeping at night. We had a balcony cabin on the 6th floor near the back of the ship. Housekeeping was great, bed was fine, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sit on. Very small bathroom but we made it work fine. Chopsticks was a favorite for lunch. Regular buffet was very limited but food was okay. We did anytime dinner which worked out well. You do stand in line for about 30 minutes if you want to eat when dining room opens at 6:45 pm. Table 301 looks out at the ocean and our waiter was amazing.
Ship has a lot of rust and things do need fixing. Tiles were off in some bathrooms and a lot of out of order signs on stall doors. They do not rush to fix anything as it was 6!days with the same bathrooms closed.
Mixed crowd onboard and talked to so many people who were quite friendly. Easy parking at the port, faster to the fun worked very well for checking in and getting off ship. We would do this again but hope things are fixed.
Good bed, small bathroom but sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sit on. Balcony needs repairing as flashing is broken, too much rust and dirty glass.
