We booked flights on our own and took the first flight out. Would not do this again because if there ever was a problem with a same day flight there is no other flight to get you there on time. Was at the port early and check-in was a breeze. As soon as we were shown to the Elite Lounge they started boarding so we were on the ship before 11:00 a.m. The main dining room is only available to Concierge passengers so we went to the buffet for lunch as the cabins would not be ready until 1:30 p.m. There is no way to sneak in as the main doors are closed so don't even try. Lunch was very good as there was quite a variety and we went to the back of the ship and ate outside.
We went to the cabin as soon as the announcement was made but the luggage did not arrive. The location of the cabin was excellent and on the port side and was close to the library and elevators. We stored our valuables and left for a tour of the ship. I was not impressed with the Atrium as it was very small and unremarkable.
Dining in Blu was awesome. The staff in Blu is exceptional and they made us feel like royalty each and every day.
Very disappointed with this cabin. Storage was awful as you could barely get into the closet as the doors were not designed properly and it was right next to the bed. The balcony had a large ugly overhang with columns so it difficult to get a good view to take pictures. I loved the shower as this was the first cruise where the water didn't overflow onto the bathroom floor.
This was our favorite port. We have a special taxi driver who took us over to the Sun Beach Clubber on the French side. Sadly we are unable to communicate with them after the hurricane.
