As this was our first cruise we did not know what to expect and had nothing to compare it with, Newcastle is our nearest port so that was a bonus. The embarkation went smoothly with no long waiting time, our cases arrived at our cabin ten minutes after we did, our cabin, No. 874 had plenty of room lots of storage and all the facilities we needed. The overnight and next day sailing to Norway gave us chance to discover the ship and all its facilities including restaurants and entertainment. The food was served in the Lido restaurant 19 hours a day all of it delicious and the staff were excellent, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The shows each night were brilliantly presented, the resident singers were also very good. The entertainment team provided a varied range of activities day and night to suit most tastes ( we thought the fruit & veg carving by one of the chef's was fabulous ) To sum up the ship's crew, everyone of them could not do enough for you and were very polite and helpful. The scenery of the fjords was beautiful, Norway is so clean, the excursions that were on offer, were interesting and a little show was put on for us as we left the ship at Arendel by the local dance school of bits from the film Frozen. Every night the next days itinerary was slipped under your cabin door plus the weather forecast which was really helpful .may we also point out the ship was spotless throughout, especially the cabins. Our disembarkation was quick and without any problems.
We enjoyed our first ever cruise with Thomson Celebration and will definitely go with them again.
Plenty of room, great wardrobe and storage facilities, small but well equipped shower room.
