We cruised from Southampton to Zeebrugge, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Le Havre and back to Southampton in September 2017.
First problem.... 1 hour 45 minutes to check in... ridiculous ! Once on the ship we were deliberately steered into what I can only describe as a high pressure sales team trying to sell you a drinks package. When I said we hardly drank she looked at me as if I was lying to her, in the end I just walked away, we were hassled all night to buy the package, my Wife just wanted to get off the ship by this point !! Great start...
The ship itself is beautiful with the largest inside cabin and shower we have ever had on a cruise. But the whole experience is bought down by ( not all ) but the bulk of the crew who in our opinion need training in the art of actually caring and speaking to people ! Leaving and boarding the ship you were lucky to get grunted at let alone a smiling welcoming face !n fact one female crew member dropped my Wife's boarding card , then stood and watched as my Wife struggled to pick it up even though she has a disability !!
