We had taken another cruise with Ama on the Ama Prima and found the service to be excellent so we chose another destination--the Bordeaux. The meals were wonderful-- every evening there was something special. The Chef's table was a very special meal and well presented. It was easy to meet other people by sharing the table at dinner. We met some lovely folks. Our cruise director, Dragan, took very good care of us---when we were flying home out of Paris he even walked the group to the station so we were sure where to go--that relieved stress for many of us. We took a variety of onshore trips to wineries and the wine museum, tours of towns in the area and visited the markets. We learned much about wines but also about the history of the area. All in all it was another good river cruise and we shall no doubt pick another destination and go again! Thank you Ama Waterways for making our cruise awesome!
The cabins are small but well appointed and with a French balcony we could open the door and watch the scenery go by.
