This was our favourite cruise ever. We have sailed on numerous ocean cruises but this was our first River Cruise and we could not fault it. Staff, Excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Food, delicious and so much choice. Drinks, always available and very generously dispenced. No watering down of drinks on our cruise. The only thing you had to decide each day was the clothes that you wore, everything else was decided for you. Stewart our cruise director was alway available and so helpful. Could not find one negative comment for the whole journey. As we have been on a number of cruises we have learnt to choose the most inexpensive room. The only time spent in your room is for sleeping so why pay extra for a picture window when the best veiw is from the top deck or lounge room. Can't see much from your balcony when you are in one of the 64 locks or tied up in port next to another ship. Save the added expence and put it towards your next APT river Cruise, thats what we are doing.
