Chose Princess for price and based on its reviews. Did the land package before the cruise, 1 night McKinley Lodge, lodge ok, bit older and rustic, great views of Denali Mountain. if it's out! Took bus ride down to town of Talkeetna for breakfast, cute town, great place to view mountain is it's out. Food at the lodge was okay. Excursion was UTV - great experience. 2 nights at Denali Lodge, a bit older and rustic. Denali is a commercial area. Took the 4 hour bus tour of Denali Park, was worth it, didn't see a lot of animals, only a few. Sled dog demonstration inside park, a must see! Only ate pizza at this location. Excursion was Covered Wagon Dinner, was okay, a tourist thing to do.

Ship on older side, some renovations, but still feels old. Staff was great. Upgraded to suite with perks that were worth it. Laundry service every day, no waiting in line at anytime dinner. Nightly manager's reception with snacks. Embarkation disappointing, embark into a long narrow hallway, was uninviting. Entertainment staff was wonderful. Facial in spa disappointing, not worth cost, massage was good. Excursions on cruise: Skagway - White Pass train ride -beautiful scenery - don't every get off the train. Juneau - Mendenhall glacier by helicopter - excellent; Sled dog camp - fantastic. Ketchikan - salmon fishing - fun and worth it; Wilderness Cruise in the Mystic Fjords - very long (4 hours) beautiful scenery, some wildlife.

Cabin Review

Premium Suite with Balcony

Cabin S5

Cabin was spacious and comfortable, shower was a bit small, but adequate. Lots of closet and drawer space.
