The Majestic Line has three vessels that sail on the west coast of Scotland. We discovered the cruise on the internet and with a little apprehension we booked a six night cruise leaving from Oban, Scotland, to the Isle of Skye. We (five of us in our family) were very pleasantly surprised. The scenery was gorgeous, the portages (we anchor and tender in) were awesome, the crew was extremely attentive. And...the food was excellent. On the Glen Massan as well as the Glen Tarsan there are six cabins with a maximum of then passengers. The relaxed atmosphere and camaraderie among the crew and passengers is something difficult to find on other larger cruises. Generally all meals are served while anchored in some gorgeous Loch to enjoy the scenery while dining. In most cases, the shore trips are leisurely timed for however long the passengers wished. (This was particularly pleasant for my daughter and me; on the large cruise ships we were usually running on board at the last minute, praying we wouldn't get left behind.) The Majestic Line organization is a group of fantastic people. We were so pleased with our trip in 2016 aboard the Glen Massan, that we booked another cruise this past August on the Glen Tarsan--enjoyable as well.
