Fine ship with a slightly old fashioned 'British' atmosphere.

This was a 2 night cruise out of Southampton to Zeebrugge for Bruge. So not long enough to give a thorough review. For instance I did not use any of the main dining rooms having dinner both nights in speciality restaurants.

Getting to the ship was easy from London with a fast train to Southampton. 10 minute taxi ride, drop off my luggage and up to the departure lounge. I was very lucky here. I was an hour early for my embarkation time but was handed a card whose letter was called within minutes. So I was in my cabin 45 minutes after my train pulled in. And my luggage arrived about 15 minutes later.

Inside cabin, forward on deck 15 - very convenient for upper decks outside, needed to use lifts for lower deck dining, bars etc. Never a problem except after emergency drill! The cabin was well designed with a decent sized shower/toilet. Large double bed, very comfortable with good pillows. More than enough space for me on my own and probably OK too for a couple. Steward was helpful and friendly.

Well designed, very comfortable, good shower/toilet, comparatively good size. Excellent position for access to upper decks, good access to lifts for lower decks.
