We came on the ship expecting to be the youngest passengers by far, but were amazed. We were ready for lazy walks and dressed up dinners, but were pleasantly surprised.

The cruise began with a night (cut short) in Quito, at high altitude. The transfers were perfect-- with a knowledgeable guide (David) orchestrating our 45 minute drive to the hotel, and helping plan for the morning. The next morning (early), the galapagonian nature reserve inspected our bags while we ate a great breakfast. Transfer back to the airport was easy. The LATAM flight was slow, having to make an hour stop in Guayaquil, but we arrived in pristine Baltra island by early afternoon.

Transferring onto the ship, we were introduced to the beauty of the islands and luxury of our home for the next week.

Explorer Suite

Small, but well designed. Bed comfortable, but much of the time is spent out of the room. Bathroom has marble counters and invigorating rain shower head.
