We wanted a one way trip in the inside passage of Alaska and loved NCL for their Freestyle cruising concept. They did not disappoint. We were able to eat at every restaurant and drink at every bar while on our cruise. Every meal was delicious (and I consider myself a foodie) and every drink made was awesome! We had a suite, which came with a Butler, Concierge, Steward and Nespresso maker! Best part was the priority care upon boarding and disembarkation...no lines and VIP service. The entertainment was good and there were never a lack of activities to keep us busy. All staff on the ship were amazing and we had great massages in the spa. My only complaint was the emergency drills that went on....that alarm is ear piercing. A couple of our excursions did get cancelled due to rain and we had to find alternatives, but they were all wonderful! The last thing was the glaciers... if you do a trip to Alaska you have to do Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier. This was Nat Geo worthy untouched beauty and the best way to see it was from the Cruise Ship!!
This room was on the front of the ship directly under the Bridge (where the Capitan navigates from). It was a little rocky on the at sea days but smooth on the inside passage. We loved our room. Dual sinks, two showers, table, couch with pullout, huge balcony with table and chairs, desk to work on, plenty of room, Nespresso coffee machine, dinnerware, mini fridge, dual closets, safe, many outlets, etc..... Best part were priority, concierge, and butler!!
Great port, easy to navigate and very organized.
