We chose this cruise because it was closer to where we live. It was just a 5 day cruise and a good time for first time cruisers. There was 4 in our group. Getting into the port and through the traffic was fine we didn't have to wait in any lines really. Our main hold up getting on the ship was when they stopped everyone at the stairs to take pictures. We finally just went around. Other than that everything went smooth. We were very excited for our first time cruise but oh so disappointed!!!

When we first got on we found our room and there was people standing everywhere and we really didn't know where to go. We found our room and made our way to find food. Finally after asking several people we found our way to Lido while going there we passed Guys burgers after looking at the offerings from the buffet we decided to go back to the burger place. I must say the burger was very good but they were extremely busy so they were fresh.

We went back to our room to unpack and explore that a little more. We had an inside cabin. We knew it would be small and that was fine. I don't go on vacation to spend time in my room other than showering and sleeping. The bathroom had a bit of urine smell but the room was fine. The only complaint we had was the air conditioner in our room was stuck on one temperature and that was rather warm for us. We couldn't turn it down at all, it's like the control was just there for looks. We had plenty of closet space for 4 people. We also met our steward later that evening a very nice older man that barely spoke english.

Cabin 4E

The cabin bathroom had a smell of urine not unbearable. Plenty of closet space and a safe. The air conditioner didn't work correctly rather warm in the cabin. We had some confusion with getting ice. We called our steward and they said we had to call room service and when we called room service we were told to contact our steward. We then contacted our steward and he kept ice in our room the remainder of the trip.

Charleston

I love Charleston lots of history! We spent 2 night here before our cruise.

Nassau

We found our own transportation to Cabbage beach. It's overwhelming with all the people selling stuff on the beach. We did rent chairs and umbrella we were able to use restrooms in the hotels....lots of people were. The water was the best and I really enjoyed my few hours on the beach. It was crowded on the beach but not in the water. That's because there was so many people trying to sell stuff. Glad we did our own thing that day. We did walk a lot but that's because we weren't sure where we were going. But once we arrived it was worth it.
