ship was old - worn holes in chair in room - carpet had worn spots - carpet was coming apart in doorways - mold in shower - food in main dining room was boring & tasteless - showers very small - the only thing that I can say I liked about the cruise were the beds - very comfortable - doubtful we will ever go on a Princess cruise again - help was not that friendly, almost like they were too busy to really get to know you. The main dining room servers were aloof, almost as if they were 'above' you, you were just a faceless person. The entertainment was just as disappointing as the ship itself - mostly the crew doing the entertaining. The shore excursions were 'just ok'. We feel that we did not get very good value for our money. The views were fantastic - but that is expected, it was Alaska after all.
