We were looking for a cruise that went to St. Petersburg and we found it in Royal Caribbean. We loved the excursion on the bullet train to Moscow. Couldn't see passing up a trip there since we were that close. Tallinn, Estonia's Old Town was an awesome place to visit. Loved going to a farm in Finland and watch the dogs herd sheep and see their outstanding horses.
Mrs. Lisa prepared muffins, cinnamon rolls, tea cakes, tea and coffee and gave us free roam of her very old, beautiful house. Gdansk, Poland's Old City was like stepping back in time. Riga, Latvia had a few interesting buildings and museums. We enjoyed a city tour and a Palace tour in Stockholm, Sweden. The sights in Copenhagen, Denmark were plentiful. We stayed in The Osterport Hotel and walked everywhere. The hotel is an easy ride by train from the airport and the bus stop to the cruise terminal is across the street. Lot of walking but worth seeing the little mermaid, Kastellet, Nyhavn, Tivoli and Christian-haven.
We missed the Tierd Party due to not receiving the invitation in our room. Checked later in the week with cabin steward and he said no one received an invitation on that floor. We checked with Crown and Anchor representative, he said he printed them out and sent them to Housekeeping Staff. Hmmm! That was on the last day of the cruise. Don't know where the invitations went but sorry We missed seeing previous cruisers!
Cabin was clean and looked as if it had been updated recently.
We loved Old Town in Talinn! We had a friend from Talinn that lived in the states. He had a private tour guide pick us up and show us the Old Town. Beautiful!
Loved this city. Plenty to see and do. Watch out for bicycles!
