We chose this cruise because Scenic had reputation for being very high end and truly all inclusive. It lived up to the all inclusive. The trip actually sailed on July 17, 2017. We were supposed to sail on the Jade but due to low water levels this ship was substituted. The ship was tired looking and needed a refresh. The carpet in our cabin was frayed and coming up.

The gourmet food was anything but. It was spotty. The ladies public restroom was out of commission for 4 Days. This caused cruisers to go back to their cabin or a cabin on the Diamond deck.

During the cruise more then half the ship came down with a respiratory ailment. Nothing was done to attempt to contain it. No one encouraged the use of hand sanitisers before entering dining room. Nor did they encourage the staff to handle the buffet in a manner to prevent those who were ill from touching silverware at the buffet. Read more
