This was a first time cruise for all of us. We're not from the Orlando area but have traveled to FL many times so no touring prior to departure. We stayed with a friend who lives in Tampa and drove over that morning. I traveled with 2 teens and they both enjoyed the various areas of the ship. Neither participated in the teen areas though. My daughter particularly loved being able to go up and lounge by the pool at night to get some quiet time. Our cabin was so convenient just off Central Park and the room attendant was awesome. We enjoyed the food in the MDR and was able to try new foods I wouldn't normally cook. We participated in FNDR and Giovanni's was amazing!! We also did the Sushi making class and enjoyed it a lot. The rolls were simple but I felt it was worth the money. Embarkation went as expected (was busy by the time we got there) but still went smoothly for us. We dropped our bags with the porter and parked in the deck so we didn't have to stress about finding a parking lot and shuttle back. Disembarkation was great! Loved being able to carry my luggage off and leave before the crowds (benefit of parking in the deck--we didn't have to wait on shuttles to get there). All of the staff I met were very friendly and helpful if needed. Before we even left, my kids were asking when we would go again.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

This cabin had a great location. Near the elevator/stair area and just behind Central Park. The only noise issue was from people allowing their door to slam and the kids who wanted to yell up the hall (these two issues would have happened even in a hotel/condo). Overall I would definitely recommend this room and even try to get this one again if possible.

Port Reviews

Nassau

We did our own walking tour for a few hours then headed back to the ship.

St. Maarten

This was also an "on our own" trip. I had thought of going to some of the excursions but we decided to just take a taxi to each of the capitals and tour on our own.
