we went on the baltic cruise with family - because it was a great opportunity to visit these harder to reach travel destinations. The ship was just perfect for our needs. We had a suite for 5 ( 3 teenagers)- and had plenty of room and space to stay happy. Our children never ventured into the kids clubs - but rather we watched movies, played cards and just relaxed when not in port. We ate at the specialty dining venues every night and were very pleased with the food, and always impressed with the continual excellent service in every specialty restaurant. The entertainment was never very compelling yet the shows we went to were wonderful..We mostly enjoyed the pianist (Brooks Aehorn? )- , the magician and hypnotist, and the Russian folk show. They do repeat the movies over and over so there is only 5? for the 12 days. We all enjoyed the live music around the ship and had a lot of fun in the dance classes ( Latin and line and exercise dance)- in the Centrum.. It is a way more pleasant place to exercise than the small gym. The gym had very few free classes and they were pretty basic - and boring. The ports were all excellent - My only complaint is several times we were at a far port from the center of the activity - ( ie - couldn't easily walk to explore the town)- and you always had to pay $$ for the ships shuttle - or take an organized tour - and sometimes they narrowed the time which we had free to explore - either arriving slightly late or deciding to leave earlier. . We always did privately organized tours ( from trip advisor or cruise critic reports ) and those are really excellent - since they are small, and the transportation is covered and you learn or can do much more. Some of the enrichment lectures were really well done - a great overview of the history of the city and its major attractions ( sondra)_ but others were a shopping review - those i did not like!

Cabin Review

Royal Family Suite

Cabin FS

This was perfect for us - 2 parents and 3 kids. We all had space to enjoy and unpack, and were not crowded ever. The 2 bathrooms is really great for teenagers. There was a large walk in closet to unpack and store luggage. It was better than many hotel rooms we have had. Will always stay in this!

Port Reviews

Amsterdam

we loed this fun city - the van gogh, the rijks, the anne frank house ( got tickets 60 days prior)- and mostly the dutch resistance museum - was fantastic - kids spent 5 hours and still not done - . we did a canal cruise and really loved the micropia museum - next to the zoo - separate - our entire family loved this - adults and kids.
