This ship is very nice - incredibly clean, very nice people, and good overall comfort. However, there are some things that need to be fixed before I would consider spending this kind of money to go on a "luxury" cruise again. This was cruise #19 for us.
1. The cabins are nice (the bathrooms are really nice), but quite small in comparison with what you get on other lines for the same amount of $$. The balcony was really tiny, and there wasn't enough storage space for us (this has never been a problem before). There are six categories of veranda cabins that are all the same size cabin...the only difference is very small increases in amenities. I am really glad I got the "cheapest" cabin.
2. The food was good, but there were some really surprising things that happened: tables remained dirty for up to 30 minutes (or more), and getting more water was really difficult. We often ate later in the evening, and perhaps staff had finished their shifts or were just exhausted, but it was strange to us how few people were assigned to the dining rooms. We loved the specialty restaurants.
Nice cabins, but very small for the price. The balcony was really small and almost unusable. The storage wasn't what we were used to...they only gave us 13 hangers (the cabin steward made sure to count them), and we definitely needed more than that. The bathroom was very nice (and large!), but I personally hated the heated floors. My husband loved that feature!
It was pouring, so we did a little walking around ourselves.
We had been to Copenhagen before...it was really sad to be there on a Monday though - NOTHING is open.
A nice place with nice people...we didn't do much.
The port was very pretty...the tour was pretty awful. We ended up sitting on a wall with the other people from the ship...almost nothing to see at the Nature Center.
We liked the town...the tour was pretty boring and almost all on the bus.
