My parents bought the entire family a cruise for Christmas last year. 11 total . . including 4 children. We absolutely LOVE sailing on Royal Caribbean!!! The Oasis of the Seas is a GORGEOUS ship!

The main dining room is excellent- the staff goes out of their way to make you feel special. They would bring special treats for the kids- and even performed magic tricks! Our kids were delighted! There are so many other dining options on board, as well. But we loved our waiters, Yatin and Osban so much- we went there every night for dinner. We enjoyed the Wipeout Cafe for breakfast and brunch. Smaller selection than the Windjammer Cafe- a bit less busy- but perfect for us. Windjammer Cafe had an amazing array of food- but can get very busy.

Beverage Packages: We bought two Deluxe Beverage Packages WITH the Wifi. I am not a big drinker- my husband got his money's worth. But I couldn't keep up. IF I had to do it over again, I'd get the the Refreshment Package with Wifi . . you get a great souvenir cup. There is a hidden soda machine by the pool on Deck 15-IN the arcade. A few days into your cruise they will offer a "10 drinks- for $79" card- that would be the way to go, if you are not a big drinker.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

Our balcony room was lovely. I was especially impressed with the shower in our bathroom- on the small side, as you'd expect- but lots of hot water and great pressure! The bed was so comfy- I didn't want to get out of it! LOL We were able to store our rolling duffle bags under the bed with no problem. LOTS of storage/closet space. I brought a power strip to add extra outlets for charging our devices- but really didn't need it.

Port Reviews

Nassau

No need for a taxi if you just want to shop- definitely check out the famous Straw Market. All shops are within walking distance of the ship.
