I wanted a quick getaway so I took this short cruise to Freeport. The crew were all so friendly, the activities were fun and I did things like bingo that I hadn't done in years. I was expecting average food but the food, waiters and the restaurant were excellent. At night I played craps and blackjack. I even won a couple of bucks. In addition I signed up for a massage and the masseuse was better then the person I use back home. She was a little Latvian lady but strong like a moose. She was very pleasant and a great experience. The cabin was perfect. It was small but clean with a working TV. The bathroom was clean and I had no complaints.

If I had any issues it would that Freeport is a dump and if I wasn't visiting a friend there on Vacation I would have stayed on the ship. She was staying at the Wyndom resort and the accommodations and food were better on the ship then at the resort. Also 80% of passengers did not speak English which alienated me somewhat. Many passengers overloaded their plates with free food which was ,to me, pretty disgusting. Also disembarking took a couple of hours which I expected but its was a bit irritating.

I give the cruise line a great review, and I don't do that often, and I will do this again with my family.

Freeport

There is no reason to visit Freeport. I visited a friend staying a resort and the well known resort was terrible. The ship was better then the resort. As usual the people in Freeport treat Americans poorly and to me this is offensive. Looking out the window from the cab it looked like a war zone. The cabs overcharge you since they can. My advise would be to stay onboard.
