We like active tour options and this cruise offered wonderful options at each stop. And the options were inclusive in the trip. What we were not expecting was the wonderful attention to detail and the very excellent service by the staff. Our cabin had a computer with internet access that made communications with family and friends very convenient. We found gifts and special surprises with the "turn downs" of our bed. The cabin was very well appointed and comfortable. The food in the dining room was very good, but the "chef's table" presentation was special indeed. We were greeted at the airport by AMAWaterways reps and whisked away to our ship. We had time to explore Amsterdam on our own upon our arrival as well as a canal tour the next day. The cruise manager had entertainment/activities planned each evening so we had full days. Sara was very well organized and our daily excursions were well planned with knowledgeable guides. Disembarkation went very smoothly, although we were sorry to goodbye to the AMAKristina and the other guests we had met on the ship.

The AMAKristina is a beautiful, new ship, christened this year. The pampered, luxurious treatment we received aboard the AMAKristina has given us very high expectations for future river cruises!!!
