We have been on all the RSS ships (as well as Seaboard and Silversea) and enjoy Voyager best. Indeed we had the same suite 1005 as last year from Singapore to Dubai. Meantime there has been extensive excellent refurbishment which has enhanced several areas.

Indeed after a less than satisfactory cruise in November on Explorer (a massive disappointment) we were regarding this cruise as make or break with Regent. We were very satisfied overall other than a couple of minor hiccups. We will continue to return - especially with laundry and pressings. We do not think butlers enhance the cruise and a penthouse isn't worth the extra.

Overnight in the Westin Excelsior in Rome was very pleasant and an excellent room. Transfer, as last time, was a little chaotic at the hotel end but also very Italian if you look at it again (and it was the same last time!)
