We chose this cruise because it was advertised as having two full days in Havana-at very short notice one day was cancelled and a visit to Belize substituted; not at all what we wanted. George Town visit cancelled, (Unable to bring tenders alongside as we were so far from shore) even though other ships further in shore were all tendering. Due to arrive Ocho Rios 07.00 hrs-finally arrived by tender at 13.00hrs-apparently the ships' carpenter had to build new steps at the landing stage. Clearly no forward planning from this company The cabin walls are so thin that every sound from next door is heard-the words from the T.V. in the next cabin can be clearly heard-the reception desk send down ear-plugs when you complain. This makes absolutely no difference and even the snores from adjacent cabins can be heard. Our cabin was at the stern of the ship and the door-closer to the outside deck was broken. For the first seven nights we had this additional loud bang next to our heads every time someone went out on deck. This is an extremely noisy ship wherever you happen to be. There is no escape from continual games and loud competitions in all lounges and bars. The 4 seats (for 700 pax.) in the library are like gold dust and we were only able to "bag" seats three times on the journey. When the weather turned warmer the noise moved up a level with all deck areas subject to over-amplified noise from the "entertainment" department. I have never been on a warm-water cruise where it's impossible to have a quiet drink out on deck.

The food is adequate but the cafe and restaurant most definitely are not. We had food and drink spilled on us in the main restaurant (not the fault of the staff, who were extremely good) because too many tables had been crammed in. The situation in the cafe was even worse as they continuously ran out of crockery and cutlery. One night I had to eat roast lamb and veg. with a spoon as "everything is in the dishwasher".
