This was our first cruise with Thomson and we were looking forward to visiting Norway.

We did our research on the ports of call downloading information and maps that we wished to visit we booked and paid in advance for all the excursions at our local Thomson store and they were most helpful.

EMBARKATION AT NEWCASTLE - At our arrival at Newcastle station we were greeted by Thomson reps who personally directed us to the awaiting coach to transfer us to the port - bus driver very cheerful and helpful. we arrived at the drop off point depositing our cases at the entrance of a warehouse we were then informed to walk to the adjacent building which was the departure lounge, we then had to obtain a medical questionnaire from one location, then to obtain a coloured card from a rep, we then had to wait until our colour was called to queue to hand in our medical questionnaire and re- queue at a separate location for checking in, we were then informed if we require a use of a safe chargeable at £25 for two weeks. (LOSE THE KEY £40 CHARGE)
