Firstly a bit of background, we were recommended this cruise by the travel agent as another advertised deal had gone. We were traveling as a couple (both in our late twenties) and I've done 3 cruises before hand but never with P&O.

The itinerary looked fantastic, Stavanger, Olden, Flam and Bergen and with this ship being quite new and almost twice the size of the last cruise we did we were very exicted. Boarding and first impressions of attrium was excellent, we got straight on with minimal wait and our luggage beat us to our room.

I'll break it down section by section, starting with Dining.

Bergen

Great city just to walk around and take it all in.

Top tip take the Funacular to Mt Floyen but get there early! We had no queue and then spent an hour or so walking around at the top. When we came down the queue must of been well over an hour to get on this train.

Only costs about £10 each.

Flam

We took a bus to a view point further down the fjord which was great. Then we walked up to the waterfall and that was stunning.

Olden

Go to the glacier, get off the boat early and visit the local tour operator right outside the ship and book a shuttle bus. From the Bus its a 45minute walk to the glacier and whole trip takes around 3 hours.

Olden is a nice little village to walk around after and then we climbed up to a view point at 400m overlooking the fjord and boat. This was the view of the trip it was superb.

Stavanger

The old town is lovely to walk around, unfortuently it was very wet when we visited.
