This was our second Disney cruise but first time on the Fantasy. We chose the itinerary because of the length and the variety of ports and at sea days. We enjoyed having 2 days at sea to take advantage of the ship while also having an opportunity to visit 3 ports (Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica) as well as Castaway Cay. Perfect combination for us. We booked shore excursions through Disney at Cozumel and Jamaica and really liked the ruins and chocolate factory tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide named Mimi. Dunns River Falls was quite busy with lots of pressure for tips and to buy things so I wouldn't do it again.

We took advantage of and really enjoyed all of the entertainment onboard - especially the big production shows. Our Cruise Director on this sailing was Mike Gibbons and he was a delight - wonderful enthusiasm and great sense of humour. We had several opportunities to speak to him and he was a genuinely fun and engaging man.

Service was outstanding on all fronts - in particular our Server (Mario) and Asst Server (Jaithip) were extremely attentive to our needs. Meal options were plentiful and suited our various preferences. We found all crew members to be very friendly and eager to provide assistance. The ship itself is beautiful and is spotless.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah (oversized verandah)

Cabin 05E

Spacious comfortable cabin with plenty of storage. Only negative was being able to feel the vibration of the ships engines at times. I am a light sleeper and it bothered me the first night but I got used to it and slept fine most nights. Being out on the verandah as the ship moved through the gorgeous waters of the Caribbean and the ships wake fanned out behind was amazing - so peaceful. It was a bit of a walk from the aft of the ship to the adult pool at the front but we didn't mind too much - it was a good way to get some steps in each day.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We took a taxi from the port to 7 Mile Beach for a relaxing afternoon enjoying the beautiful water.
