Overall, a huge cruise success. I've taken 4 now - 3 carnival, 1 disney. Enough to know what's important, yet not enough to be snobby about it. Here's my honest assessment.(coming from a 47 year old dude.)

The Magic is the perfect combination of a beautiful ship, organized staff and well selected ports. In a word: value. Go for it. You'll have a blast.

Highest marks go to the stunning atrium with its spiral staircase and the surprisingly spacious balcony cabin. Stupendous.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

First time with a balcony and it was definitely roomier. Bathroom bigger too.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

My favorite port. Parking really easy. Clean and hassle free.

Nassau

Okay place. Just went to Senior Frogs. Interesting people.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Mountainous which was a nice switch. Zip line was fun and waterslides. Clean place with flowers aplenty.
