Was a bit apprehensive before the trip as I wasn't sure about the hole cruise thing. The Pacific Dawn was a spacious comfortable ship with lots to do. The cabin was a window twin cabin. It was spacious and clean with a wardrobe, safe, tv, phone, and fridge. There was an ensuite which was small but adequate. Regi and Nathaniel were our room stewards and seemed to work endlessly. They were very friendly and nice people. The dining options were good. Don't expect Michelin star restaurants, but the food and service was good for the cost of the cruise. There were shows and musical entertainment in various parts of the ship every day and it was of a good standard. The service onboard was efficient and very friendly, although the bartenders seemed a little overwhelmed at times. The Pacific Island Hopper visited Noumea, Lifou Island and Port Vila. There were plenty of tours you could pre book on board and also when you goy ashore you could book then. It was a very enjoyable trip. So good in fact, we booked another cruise before we left. Highly recommended.
