Cabin: Interior Stateroom

RC was recommended to us by our Travel Agent. This was the first time we went on a cruise. 2 adults and 2 kids (11 & 12). We absolutely loved everything about this trip. First we were welcomed by Maria our Stateroom assistant. Since it was our first time on a cruise I was hesitant I may become sea sick. But I hardly felt the boat moving. The stateroom was small for a party of 4, but we really only used it to shower and sleep. It was very clean and organized, just the same as the rest of the ship. I always saw staff cleaning something. There are so many things to do on the ship that you want to take advantage of everything. My kids loved the wave rider, I just wished they would not close it so early. Many times when we came back from the island trips they wanted to use it and they would close it like at 5pm, very disappointing. But they enjoyed the other pools, and jacuzzis. The ice skating is also lots of fun. The ice show was excellent and the theater too. The food in both restaurants Windjammer and Saphire Restaurant were delicious. Lots to choose from. But best of all was the staff. Lynton and Sang with their professionalism and friendliness made our evening dinners memorable ones. We will definitely travel with RC again in the future.

Cabin K

The cabin is small but they layout is very well done. It was very clean and organized. We only used it for showering and sleeping. My kids loved the bunk beds, but next time we would probably take adjoining rooms since the kids are getting older.

Port Reviews

Bonaire

We rented a car and were able to explore the whole island. It is the most beautiful little island we saw. It is flat and very dry, therefore you'll see lot of cactus. Arrived at Gotomeer to see beautiful Flamengos in their natural habitat. The solar salt works were impressive. You drive along the coast and see the beautiful ocean, pass by the Flamingo Sanctuary and Lighthouse and then you arrive at the most beautiful beach "Sorobon Beach" I have every seen. Cristal clear turqouise blue water.

Curacao

We booked the Dolphin Academy for the kids from home because we just wanted to make sure to fulfill the kids dream. Since spaces are limited we didn't want to risk to book it on the ship. Best experience to swim with the dolphins and see the aquarium. Made it to Mambo beach and rented snorkling equipment. Saw beautiful sea creatures just off the beach. Unfortunately we did not have much time to explore the rest of the island. People were very friendly.

Aruba

We hired a taxi driver who was excellent. Very sweet and informative. Unfortunately we didn't like the island too much. Not much too see and it is very trouristy. Big hotel complexes with posh shopping street. Which is fine if you like that. But we were looking for something more adventures. Also from all the beaches this one was the worst. The bottom felt like walking in mud. And the water had something that would make my skin itch. The best was our friendly driver and the Pelicans Nest restaurant at the pier in Palm Beach.
