Our first cruise with Celebrity having done 3 previous cruises with P & O, also the first time we had cruised in the Med.

Given the reputation that Celebrity have, I was expecting a level of quality higher than P & O but, whilst we enjoyed the cruise, I was a little disappointed.

Embarkation in Rome was seamless and from arrival we were in our cabin within 15 minutes. The cabin was very good, the only thing lacking was tea & coffee facilities in the room (but I accept this is very much a British "thing").

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Wonderful city but very expensive and continually hassled by street vendors.

Taormina (Messina)

Beautiful town

Mykonos

50 mph winds so hard to give a worthwhile review. There were 4 ships in port and Mykonos Town was ridiculously crowded.

Santorini

Took a boat trip to Oia...stunning scenery. Was a little disappointed with Fira.

Naples

Sorrento is stunningly beautiful
