The ports of call were good. Unfortunately landing in Barcelona on a Sunday meant all of the shopping was closed and there wasn't a lot to do. I agree that getting on from Rome, made us feel left out of things since the majority of the people were half way through their cruise by that time. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, and the rooms were badly designed. I have been happier on other Norwegian ships. The kids loved Entourage for teens and the water slides. There were a lot of deck chairs and plenty of seating for eating. Unlike other ships, three weren't a lot of tables on the deck by the pool to play cards or read at. If you sat at a table you had to go into the dining area on deck or into the smoking area. the shows were good, but many of them had material that I didn't think was appropriate for the kids to watch. For example, the Burn the Floor was good but the shirt coming off of one of the girls and the very sexy dancing was uncomfortable to watch with my teens sitting next to me.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

There wasn't a separate bathroom. The toilet was in one glass enclosed and the shower in another. NyQuil could hear everything that was going on. The beds were uncomfortable and the curved design while aesthetically pleasing took out precious foot space.

Port Reviews

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Pretty boring. We didn't want to pay $15 per person to take th shuttle bus into town from the ship, so we tried to walk and there really wasn't anything on the way.
