I'll just go over my experiences in order;

Friday-Embarkation. I've never experienced one this bad. Got on the ship in Quebec City, we had reserved a 10am embarkation, however the doors to the terminal did not open until 11:30 and by then the lines were huge. Once we got to the area where we could check-in, it was clear the staff NCL was using was not trained. It took over 45 minutes for the person to check us in. We had plenty of time to watch other people having the same problems with their check-in person.

Once we did get on the ship and to our room, our room keys did not work. We waited in line for about 20 minutes to get new keys. Once in the room, I tied to put my valuables in the safe, but it wouldn't work. To their credit, NCL had someone there immediately to fix the safe.

Cabin BB

We've sailed with Princess and NCL. Princess beats NCL on Customer service every time, but we always enjoy the cabins more on NCL.

Port Reviews

Quebec City

Walked around town on our own and booked our own tours. It's now my favourite city in North America.

Sydney (Nova Scotia)

Not much to do in the city but rent a car and get out of town. Fortress of Louisbourg was great.

Halifax

Museum of Immigration was very good.

Saint John (New Brunswick)

Nothing to do. Should have rented a car.

Greenock (Glasgow)

Have to tender in and go through immigration. Slows the day down. Nice town though. Good day of wondering.
