Sail Date: Jun 2017
Cabin: Sky Suite 2

Ship: My wife and I are just off of the Equinox June 11th, the ship is in good shape but showing some wear and tear. Carpets, furniture could use replacing but overall the ship was kept clean and saw staff cleaning everywhere. Pool area was well maintained and the pool Butler was always removing towels left on chairs that seemed reserved but had no occupants. Pool Bartenders were a little slow but that wasn't a real problem. All and all would sail on the Equinox again.

Dining: We ate at Luminae every night but one, and the food was very good. Some nights we ordered off of the main dining room menu and that wasn't a problem. We didn't eat breakfast and had lunch at the Buffet, which was your typical fare. They did have a suckling pig one day that was very good. The Gastrobar has a small plate menu and the Bone Marrow was excellent. The chicken from the Luminae menu the last day was probably the best I have ever had (I don' remember what it was called but it was 1/2 chicken).

Entertainment: Shows were OK, December 63, Divas, Production, I missed the comedian. My wife enjoyed his show. Casino dealers were very friendly (Sophie and Ana) and I did see one win on video poker for a little over 2K and heard that there was a huge jackpot on a slot for 30k (but not confirmed) they closed early on the last night.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 2

Cabin: Suite cabin, was kept very clean and serviced a couple times a day. The bed was fine though the pillows were a little soft, requested additional pillows and they were there within the hour. Bathroom was a typical suite bathroom, full size tub etc. would rather have a large shower instead of the tub. No problems with plumbing and sea pass access to the room and it also had a nice size balcony.
