Loved the cruise however this ship has seen better days. There are maintenance issues with sewer smells in the stairwells, tattered furniture in public areas and bathrooms that have holes in the doors, with lots of rust all around. Our Balcony cabin was nice and our steward was very attentive. Service was to be expected in the dinning room but nothing above and beyond. Entertainment was just ok but nothing outstanding would have enjoyed more dancing, didn't really do too many of the general activities as they weren't really of interest to us. We did enjoy the balloon drop and dancing. Did a balcony dinner and Sabatini's, that food and service was amazing so I know they can deliver, wish the dinning room was the same way.

We did a cruisetour of Fairbanks and Denali Princess Lodges is was very nice. Really enjoyed the 9 1/2 hour dome train ride to Whittier, beautiful scenery.

We did not travel with kids and we are in our mid fifties and were the lower age group on this ship. We would definitely do Alaska again, but do not think I would do the Island unless it has been renovated.
