We saw this cruise advertised in the AARP magazine, so when friends suggested we join them, we signed up. The cabin was very nice and spacious, and very clean, with good storage space for clothes and bathroom items. The food was really good, similar to that of Princess Cruise Line, with a nice variety and plated beautifully. Service was great. We had a very personable waiter for meals, and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. While the cost is significantly higher than large ship cruising, it was very relaxing to be on a smaller boat with less than 200 people. I have a motion sickness issue on most modes of transportation, but there was very little motion on this boat and I was not ill at all. The included excursions were very interesting and the port stops very nice. The water was high in the Mississippi, so we docked at different docks sometimes, but arrangements for the promised excursions were made, so the trip was not affected. The tour of the wheelhouse was very interesting with the very young, very experienced, very personable captain. The trip exceeded our expectations. We are booked on another trip with ACL next year on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Can't wait. I would highly recommend this trip and am sure others offered by ACL are great also.

Cabin Review

Cabin AAL

Cabin was a nice size and well furnished. Very comfortable bed and good storage for clothes, etc. Bathroom was a very nice size, similar to that of a mini-suite or better on a larger cruise ship.
