WOW! There is no other way to start this review.
We booked the 11 day expedition from Bali to Broome with some concerns having read the limited number of reviews available on Silver Discoverer. We checked in with Silversea and staff reassured us that the vessel had recently undergone further work to address the issues raised (in late 2016 and early 2017).
Should we have been worried? It’s Silversea? Our simple answer is a resounding “No”!
Cabin Review
Explorer Suite with Portholes
Our cabin on Deck 3 was excellent. Large enough to provide enough space for all our clothes, boots, shoes, cameras and other stuff, small enough to be comfortable. The bathroom was great and again well appointed for a vessel of the size of Discoverer. Our butler Ranjeet was great. Keen to provide everything we needed and would always track us down to check on arrangements for the next day.
Minor negatives were the regular warning horns that we could hear from the engine room and the couple of times the toilet didn't flush straight away. That said it didn't take long to be fixed.
