Cabin: Balcony

Having traveled on Celebrity Cruises for our first cruise last September, we thought we'd try Norwegian. Our expectations were only partially met and the shore excursion to Puerta Vallarta was a scam. We had a balcony and while there was enough space for the suitcases to go underneath the bed, the room it was tight but very liveable. The room attendants were pleasant and always in good spirits. The same could not be said for wait staff nor those working in the buffet. They did their job efficiently but most seemed to have stopped by the medical centre on the way in to get a personality bypass.

There were a couple of highlight shows like the Magician and Cirque style circus while the house band Band On The Run was more like an RSL troupe.

The pool area was always crowded although the pools themselves were not.

Like all ship rooms it's slightly small and the bathroom is not for the obese.

We are average sized people so it suited us and even better there's a sliding door on the toilet and the show - bonus!

Can't fault really. If you're picky and want lots of space, you'll be be disappointed but it's exactly what we though it would be like.

Slight tight getting past the end of the bed though.
